Take a look at the rubber bushings after Bilstein 5100 install. The rubber bushing just looks super funky like it is being squeezed out of the housing. What did I do incorrectly putting everything back together?

I am pretty sure that is just there to correct the typical "taco lean" if it is on the driver side. I've seen that exact thing before on other trucks. You think they would come up with a better looking design but I do not think you did anything wrong. However, I am by no means an "expert"

Ummm... rubber spacer?? I'm thinking something is wrong. Never seen that. Did you self install? Do the install instructions mention those rubber rings?

@OZ-T is pretty good with suspension knowledge.

Those are spring isolators... there is a certain "notch" that the end of the spring rests in ... all struts have them . Bet it's not lined up properly.

Frankestuff is right. I spent last night pulling the shock/coil down, and I discovered that I did not correctly index the coil spring relative to the notch. Problem is solved now, thanks guys!

@Frankenstuff thanks for the help! @jpowell1161 Did you have to buy a new isolator due to that one stretching or were you able to reuse the one that bulged out? Also, did this cause a metal clinking sound when going over bumps at a relatively higher speed? Just wondering if this is the cause of that sound too.. thanks!
