    It didnt matter much to me sport vs off road. Liked the looks of the sport better but the off road had the locker (which i dont need) and that crawl mode. Had a hard time deciding on that and white vs quicksand. Would have been happy with a quicksand or but got a white sport.

    Took it on a little trip today up to my getaway/duck lake. 140 mi round trip. Rolling hills 60-65 mph.
    I was very happy with it. It shifted down on the same hills my 2nd gen did and the shifting was butter smooth. Didnt hear any howling. Ride was better than my 2nd generation sport. In short, I was looking for trouble and just didn't find it.
    Now if it holds up like my 2nd gen....
    Oh yeah I got 22.6 mpg according to the digital read out

    I have a 2nd gen but I couldn't pass up the deal on this 3rd Gen.0101171436.jpgAnd it even has a lifetime warranty by Matchbox. Solid truck so far, no issues.

    My wife gave me a Hot Wheels Tacoma when I bought my Prerunner as a joke. Now it's kinda become an obsession, I have quite a few Tacomas and Tundras, both Matchbox and Hot Wheels.
