i know a guy that lifted a 2wd tacoma

every truck is different, i like 20's on some trucks, but not if they have rubber bands for tires, if they have some meat on 'em they don't look bad... saw a tacoma with 22's, now that was dumb..... i wouldn't put 'em on my truck, but like many have said, it's YOUR truck.

now what is really bad ass, is a 6" lift, 20's, and 35" aggresive tires.....

I plan on putting 20's on my truck when I finally get it, but it'll be a standard cab 2wd, and I'm going to drop it 2 inches all around.
If you want to put 20's on your truck, it's your truck, so do it.

The thread just goes to show: to each his own. We all have differing ideas and tastes. Some die for blue. Others would only have white. Some like this, others like that.

I think trucks look best with chrome. The dull grey wheels are just that. The more chrome the better on a truck.

Some like great big monster truck wheel. 33s and the like. I don't need something that big.

If you like the wheel, who cares what anyone else thinks. There will be as many who like your truck as those who dislike it. And vice-versa.

Go for it and don't look back.

    this is funny,

I went from a 99 TRD on 35s to the X. And everyone askes me why I dont lower the X any:eek:.

Its just so hard after lifting trucks for so long. I think it would look ok ( like 2" nothing major) but im having trouble getting myself to do it.:)

but this truck is a blast to drive, and I have 20s and love them.

I really think the 22 x 12s that the powerstroke guys run with 38s or 40s looks freaking sweet

2" isn't even that low. I'll still be able to use the truck as a truck, and it'll handle better. It's not like I'm going to slam it, which I'm also opposed to doing to MY truck, but I do like the look. And once again, to each his own.

If you drive on the street and don't go off road, the 20's are the thing to get. GREAT road ride. Who gives a shit what anyone else thinks?
