Send the whole kit back for a refund, and buy something that won’t ride like garbage.

Glad I didn't have to be the first to inform OP that 3.5" isn't a good idea. Bad enough he went Junk Country but he's also in for some headaches down the road going with a 3.5" lift. Some people like learning the hard way however I'll give OP the benefit of the doubt and assume he's ill informed of just doesn't know better.

Just installed my RC 3.5” lift kit with the upgraded UCAs today. Install wasn’t bad. My tires don’t rub and I have 32.4” tall 305 (12 inches wide) nitto ridge grapplers. So far the ride quality seems fine. I’ve heard some have trouble with the RC Upper ball joint failing prematurely but that could be due to the fault of the person not greasing/maintaining it properly. All it is is a ball moving around in a sleeve. Keep it greased and it should last just as long as oem. I will also add RC includes front differential spacer to correct CV angles. They also have a taper in the rear lift block to help correct driveline angles. I do not know why y’all dog on RC so much as it seems they thought their kit through pretty good in my opinion. I’ll let y’all know if any issues arise.

Diff drop is useless, block will cause your springs to sag quicker. RC seals are junk and they will leak. Good luck with your truck.

I’m curious as well about why people bag on rough country as well. I never had the brand so can’t say anything, but their vertex shocks look really nice. And for the price…….

it does the job for people who want more then a 3inch lift. But I wouldn’t cut my frame for it. Seems scary and a pain to put it back to stock.

lots of people praise bilstein, and I’m not a fan. Had 5100 and now 6112/5160 combo. Too stiff for me. But I’m sure it will last a long time.

I’m wondering if anyone had the rough country fail on them in some way.

    so 3.5 minus 2 is 1.5

That truck looks like way more lift than 1.5 inches.

Exactly, we distribute a highly sought-after controlled product globally. Competition is fierce, often we have to resort to tactical logistics to beat back the competition. Profits are worth it though.

So from the center of the hub to the fender we’re at about 22.5” (half inch above the stock lift) we’re supposed to be sitting about 24.5”

For what reason would you need to cut your frame?

I heard on the 6” lifts. You have to put a frame extension. It just takes your lower control arm and diff, and brings it down so you won’t have crazy cv angles. And to install that “cradle” you have to cut your factory frame.

here is a rough picture. The red is where the factory lower control arm bolts to the frame. And the yellow is the “cradle” and where the lower control arm bolts up. And to install that cradle, some cutting is needed
