My experience with my '09 compared with the '85 I had says the old system is more reliable. I bought a new one because the older one was worn out. Used ones with the lever system are likely to have other problems.

Bout 4 inches more legroom in the front. I just got diagnosed with early onset arthritis in my knees and god I really do wish it had that extra room.

We do, into the rav4/highlander first. It will be in the Tacoma by 2025. Trust me, it will be amazing. Close to 600 lb/ft of tq to the wheels and just as reliable. Not to mention that the tq hits at 0 rpm. The rav4 prime is faster than a 2010 mustang. That's insane.

First - AC MT OR in NA. I need this truck.
Second - The far left bottom part of the dash that sticks down a little bit. With the buttons. RAISE IT UP! I've knocked me knee on that damn thing so many times getting in the truck. No reason for it to be like that.

I would like front drum brakes for better reliability.

The issue isn't SHOWING metric, it's the scale. as I said it shows metric units, but the scale should be something logical like 50m, 100m, 250, 500, 1km etc.

If you press +\- on the map screen, doesn’t it change the scale?

I feel like I'm being trolled here. It zooms in just fine, but the scale will be like 800m, 400m etc. because it's the same map zoom level for imperial units (so 800m is half a mile, 400m is quarter of a mile). I want it so that when I zoom in or out it shows as 500m, 250m etc. ( so half a kilometer, a quarter km etc)

Also how are you getting that sort of fuel efficiency in your truck while in Vancouver? is it all highway driving?

Haha, no trolling here sir. Was just trying to help.

Last fill-up was about 60% hwy, so I had like 11.8L per 100. If city only driving I get 12.5-13.5 all day long, depending if it’s winter or summer. I take advantage of DFCO whenever I can and coast to red lights whenever I can, other than that my driving is pretty spirited.

Highway, I easily get 10-11.5 if going no more than 110-115.

guess I drive it like I stole it then lol, best tracking my fuel ups since I got it was 12.8L/100km in 2018 (year average), now I have larger and heavier tires and oh man has my efficiency gone down.

2015 I only fueled up twice and didn't note the odometer
    2016 I got 15.0 with 34 fuel ups
    2017 I got 13.1 with 61
    2018 I got 12.8 with 64
    2019 I got 14.9 with 10
    2020 I got 13.5 with 18
and this year 14.6 so far with 4 fuel ups

Fuelly looks convenient but there's no way I'm entering 200 points of data in there!

Better seats. I know they at least added more adjustability with the newer models. Maybe that would make them better but the full manual seats in my ‘18 are not comfortable.

I sold my Z71 and 1st gen and just bought a 17 3rd gen this week.

Overall I’m very pleased with it, but will echo 2 things.

I wish it was bigger, overall, in general. The back seat (DC btw) is tiny, no leg room. The bed is tiny and I’m going to be putting in a toolbox as well.... and the truck being stock at the moment looks like a damn go cart. Lol

Also, wish you didn’t have to jump through so many hoops just to run a 33.

Other than that, I’m very happy and content.

You can still haul long items in these trucks, a hitch extender is a good investment.
