You look on eBay for a tool and all the ones that are in your tool box are listed as vintage. If you want "Made in the USA", it is vintage. High quality tools are from Snap-on, MAC, Cornwell, Older Craftsman, and do not forget Proto, SK Wayne and Husky.

Another obscure good one: Blackhawk tools. When I was a mechanic years ago there was even a Bonney tool truck. We had four. Snap-On, Mac (Matco), Cornwell and Bonney. All were equally good but I have listed them in the order of expense.

Looks as though some one owned it long before him as well. That is what good quality tools are all about.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
Probably nothing to do with tools but my Cousin bought this at a yard sale because it looked cool. We have no idea what it is. It’s made of wood. Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
Just like the tools I am vintage as well.

The tools were all good some warranties better then others .

For me it always came down to the dealer if they were idiots I would not buy from them

Because of spending so much time working out of state I would go to their house when I was home send checks in the mail

“Called an "S" wrench because of its shape, an s-wrench was used on bolt heads and nuts in difficult-to-reach places on the locomotive.
This tool is part of a collection of hand tools used in the inspection and repair of steam locomotives in the early- to the mid-20th century, roughly 1900-1955. Light repairs on steam locomotives were usually done in roundhouses at the many small locomotive terminals throughout a railroad's system; heavy repairs were done in a large, centralized repair shop serving the whole system (often referred to as the "Back Shop").”

My GGF worked the Union Railroad and my GF was a plumber… I have some of these around. The also came in handy for all sorts of steam/pipe fitting in tight spots.

measure the ends to see if it’s pre-SAE…
