When every piece of shit you see broken down on the highway is not your brand.

Can't say I've ever seen a Tacoma broken down on the side of the highway. Crap not even changing a flat.

LOL, in the case of my '99. When you start your truck on a cold winter morning and it sounds like a big truck is outside your house cause it's idling so high and loud.

    For me
When I have no desire to drive the paved roads, and sometimes I get where I'm going faster on the dirt roads than on paved roads.
When you look at a mud puddle and wonder if it's big enough to take a jetski into, and not think twice about pulling the happy lever and going tacodipping.
When your only concern about a river crossing is weather the over sized tires will float you off course before you get to the other side.
When you consider mud a fashion statement.

My neighbor does extensive exploration with his '94 and carried an extra gas can for a long time, he told me that he finally gave it up when he decided that it was just taking up room, and there was no way he could run the truck dry in one day.
He also passed on that sometimes he'll come to a hill that's too steep to climb on foot so he has to get back in the truck to climb or descend.

when you listen to rap songs and the guy sings about "3 wheel motion", which makes you think about your next offroad trip.

I've done that. I found a hill in TSF that was so steep and muddy that I had to approach the start at an angle to begin the climb. During the whole thing all I could see was sky and think about how trees growing at a near 45º angle was disturbing. I lost my nerve before cresting the top, so I hit the brakes. I Instantly start sliding backwards and have to use a bit of gas in 1st to occasionally crawl back up and keep my descent speed down. Once I got down I thought, "wow, going up was really, really easy"

Better to have a muddy stock Tacoma than a pristine, tricked out, mall crawler. :mudding:

When you look for a tutorial on how to work on your taco and you actually find one.

Seafoam, it smoothed my idle out. Even though I did it wrong the first time. :)

ONLY time i ever see a toyota on a tow truck or a flat bed is when it is totaled from a wreck. And we all know the driver came out with hardly any injuries, if any at all.

Actually, yeah when i was turning into to the neighborhood a few months ago my truck was covered in mud and all the little kiddos playing outside (who's daddies have big chevys, fords and dodges) were all cheering me on as i drive by :D.

And now that i think about it, not once i have i ever seen a spec of mud on THEIR trucks.
