For the future try parking in a different location and again buying some rodent spray or even super potent tom (fertile male cat) urine. Tends to scare the little guys away. Where there's pee there's preditors is the mentality.

your truck and my CCTV camera wires on my house must be DELICIOUS! Because i get raccoons and they chew my camera wires all the G'dam time. And that $hit smells like Chinese plastic so i don't see the appeal unless like antifreeze it has a sweet taste. Yum wire filled licorice.

Its soy plant based material being used in the wiring insulation. Or so I was told. A friend of mine just had 3k worth of damage on his FJ as a result of rodent chewing and nesting. Ate piles of insulation off the wires. Local Toyota dealer said its common here with our rodents, and the soy id being used in Toyota and other brands being touted as a "green solution".

I wonder if rodents would like my 303 soaked engine? Or one that was fluid filmed.

Its not a rodent, no entry or exit areas. You think he takes a ride to work with me everyday. Nothing is chewed up. I think its sabatag as william shatner would say. Maybe my neighbor , he has palm trees but probably couldnt figure out how to get to my air filter.

Why would your neighbor do that and how would he open the hood? Looks like it was placed in there, I agree.

From the ground to tire to shock to spring to frame to inside splash gaurd up splash gaurd on inside and into the air inlet hole in the fender. That's his route, I've watched it happen before. Keep in mind a rat can fit through a hole just big enough for it's head, so pretty much any quarter sized hole will pass a full grown rodent.

Clever little bastards they is. Some folk even keep them as pets, I just kept them for snake food.

'09 Silver SR5 Prerunner DCSB (sold) Dick Cepek rims, 33” Cooper AT 3’s, 24 in light bar, custom-made hitch step, sport headlights (on SR5 taco), Gator tonneau cover (looking for Best Top soft camper shell), real tree seat covers, weather tech floor liners, 6’ bed mat cut to 5’ (because the 6’ ones were the only ones available, alpine touch screen head unit, alpine 1100w amp powering 2 10” subs, upgraded door speakers (forgotten the brand), Magnaflow exhaust
The only way to get in is through the opening in the airbox, and most tacos don’t have mesh over the inlet before the filter... well the ones that I’ve seen don’t have any sort of mesh before the filter. How ever idk what that is from. Looks like a mouse or rat, but I can’t really tell. It even could be a squirrel.

In my 1st gen tacoma I once found about 5 pounds of dog food. I thought someone was messing with me until I got on line.

A tear later I found a nest in my blower fan.

There was an awful smell from the AC of my sisters car, pulled the blower motor to clean the coil expecting mold or something, found three dead mice.

Considering they no longer had eyes I would say yes. Fortunately they were mice crispys so no goo left. They even had half pelt on each, mostly mummified by sitting down wind of the heater core, kinda looked zombie ish, you could see the exposed skeletal structure in places.

Tell you what though, that is NOT what you want to pull out bare handed and blind, reached in there and around the bend by feel pulled three handfulls of leaves and nuts out... Then came the mice.

I clean pools and there is nothing like pulling a little fury out of a pool skimmer all bloated and soon as they break the surface they almost always explode. :puke:Thanks for sharing. Lol
