A few years back, our Cub Cadet lawn tractor wouldn't start. Pulled off the air filter cover and it was packed full of corn. We live in the middle of farm country and we keep it parked in a garden shed away from the house.
Get a cat and don't feed it too much....

I had this problem for a while, then started feeding a couple stray cats. I feed them just enough to keep them coming around. When they run out of food, they hunt. Solved my mouse in the heater blower, cabin air filter issue. Also keeps raccoons off the deck.

Where do you buy cat urine? Is there a farm somewhere or do I find a cat and put’em in a juicer?

I made some bait stations for rats and mice by cutting some 3" pipe in about 12" lengths, then drilling a hole through, and putting rat bait inside with a wire through the bait and around the outside of the pipe. Put them next to the foundation of my buildings, have to refill about once a week lately. Started because my son drove his family home in a new Honda van, and it would not run when he went to leave, rat had eaten into the wiring.

I live in the country. In the past I'd set a mouse trap in my engine compartment and every night I'd catch a mouse. I got real tired of resetting the mouse trap every day, so I did some research. I learned that mice don't like the smell of mint. So I went to Home Depot and got a mint mouse deterrent/ air scent type of thing. After hanging it n the engine compartment I haven't caught a mouse since.
