    Finding and making space in a secured manner for lesser used items I stumbled across Whatthefoz 's photo on Instagram and decided to mimic it since I could find some deals on the case. See photo below.

    He used U bolts to secure it.
    I wanted something a bit cleaner, easily removable, and with fewer holes.
    I was initially thinking about some sort of exterior surface locking mechanism on the case to thebasket.

    I went town a rabbit hole on JW Winco, & McMaster-Carr with locking Jeep Hood latches, and "One Touch Fasteners", indexing pins going laterally from the inside of the case to mounts outside attached to the basket, heavier duty but smaller surface mounted toggle clamps, quick release pins, and even those rice burner and muscle car hood latch pin kits.

    I wanted to get your opinion, approach and prefered ideas to minimize holes in the case.

    No I'm not spending hundreds$ on Pelicans new box and latch system....not yet..until I upgrade the truck significantly. looking for "affordable"
