Just bought a 2017 G3 1548 DK with a new 2017 Yamaha 40. I've taken it out twice so far to break in the motor. It'll be a fishing/duck hunting combo boat. Looking for the right trolling motor and sonar now. I was down to choosing between the Lowe 15' with Mercury 40hp and the G3. My buddy loves his G3 and I preferred the Yamaha, so I went with it.

I don't own a boat as I learned that its easier and way funnier for somebody to pay me to captain.

Did some mate/captain work on the Jolly II Rover out of Key West for awhile:

Truck pulls the boat great to the launch (3 mins away). But I could definitely feel the boat behind me driving 3 hours home when I picked it up
