Just installed my skid plate last weekend. It’s well worth the money for the peace of mind with the added protection.

That’s different. I don’t track my m3 but it gets drivin like it’s on a track regularly. That being said, nothing wrong with a mall crawler when it’s recognized as one

I am very pleased with my TRD skid plate. I have taken some good hits with it while off-roading and it holds up well. No "cons" or negative reports from me......

Quite a few things at this point..
LOVE mine. Definitely put it to use often. But know it's probably not what you'll want if you plan on doing any serious rock crawling.

    Some beauty marks..

You can buy it and just pull off the red letters. The letters are just clipped into the skid plate.

Take a look at this post to see what it looks like without the letters on it -

Mostly electrical shit that nobody cares about.
This is accurate. Just keep in mind, the new TRD skid plates leave some holes inside the letters. The old TRD skids were just embossed letters.

Correct about the holes. If you guys look at the picture in the link I provided, you can see how the holes look on the newer skid without the letters on it

So today I pulled the plug and ordered the TRD skid plate. It will get delivered tomorrow so I will post some pictures as soon as I get it installed.

Just set aside more time than you’d think to get the stupid thing on.

I just cross threaded the front driver side bolt putting mine back on post service. It’s always been a bit unwieldy but it beat me this time. I ended up ordering a M12x1.25 tap set to clean up the holes. I had the die but not the tap.
