    2017 Tacoma OR 4x4 (formerly a 1998 SR5 PU, 2002 OR 4x4, 1995 4x4 4Runner, 1985 4x4 Toy PU) ... and RIP’s (rust in pieces) to a Bronco II 4x4 & S10 Blazer 4x4
:gossip: … and now the better model of those two trucks are selling for at least 7 times more than what we paid for them!

    If we only kept them!

My 2008 was a great truck that treated me well.
Bought for 28K new, sold for 16k last year. Cost me $1200 a year to own.

Grandpa left me a bare bones '93 truck that he bought with zero options... unfortunately the Salty roads of the NE rusted that truck into 2 pieces around 2006...
My current ride is a '89 XtraCab 4x4 that I found with 98k on it in SE WA (zero rust)!

First: 2003 Tundra SR5 w/ TRD Offroad pkg. Nicknamed "Trudy" because of the "TRD" decal on the bedside. Gifted in 2016 (for my 16th bday) and driven until 2020. Beat the absolute heck out of it throughout high school and college and it still ran like new when I sold it.
    IMG-2108.jpg IMG-0505.jpg
Current: 2020 Tacoma TRD Offroad... yet to be nicknamed. Bought in October and already put 11k miles on it

    1) 1980 4X4 bought new in Georgia. I think this was the 2nd year Toyota sold the 4WD in the states.
    2) 1985 4x4 bought used in 1990 in the Yukon Territory, Canada while I was mining up there.
    3) 1996 4x4 extended cab bought used in 1999 in Georgia. I put 260,000 miles on this one as a work truck for 20 years.
    4) 2008 2WD crew cab bought used in 2012. Still have this one. My current work truck. I've put about 160,000 miles on it.
    5) 2018 4x4 crew cab bought new. Personal use and camping ect. Pull a 3500# travel trailer with it. Put 50,000 on it.
I've had two Fords in this mix. A 1995 and a 2005 F150s. The Toyotas out lasted the Fords by a long shot.

Current 2023. Bought last week. There was a '96 Regular Cab 4x4 and then a 2000 SR5 4x4 XtraCab in between but I took a 20 year hiatus until now. Ironically more or less the same trim as the last one.

My first Toyota Truck was a 1993 DLX 4x4, 2.4 5MT with no A/C that I bought in 1995 with 105,000 miles for $5000.00 used. Still have the truck today, with an odometer that quit working in 2016 at 269,000 miles- runs like a champ and my daughter still drives it. Clear coat is gone from the hood, fenders, and roof, but I painted with black rustoleum and clear coat.
    IMG_1467.jpg

Current Truck is a 2017 SR Utility 4x4 with the 2.7L, 5 MT and a bunch of mods with 49,000 miles. No issues yet and hope to run it until it quits running or EVs take over. Also have a project Gen 2, 2014 SR5 4x4 MGM, 4 cyl with 6MT and a flat bed build project that runs great and has 45,000 miles that I have $13,000 into it.
