First was a 2000 Tundra 4.6l TRD Off Road, extra cab with a bench front seat. Current is a 2018 Tacoma TRD Off Road, double cab. Both are white.

    My 1st Toyota Truck was a new 1987 SR5 Pickup 4WD Xcab 5spd 4 cyl factory turbo 22RTE.
My current truck is a 2013 TRD OR DC 4WD v6 auto bought new now with 120k.
I do have a deposit on a 2023 TRD OR.
The 1987 was my favorite. Sold it to buy a house.

First was a new ‘17 SR5 Barcelona Red that I only held onto for 4 months. Truck was great but it wasn’t ideal for my situation at the time. Been wanting another since and finally got a new ‘ 23 SR5 4x4 in Celestial Silver Metallic this week.

The first was so long ago that I can’t recall, especially given that I drove it for such a short time.

My 1986 short bed (RN65L) purchased new from Longo Toyota...$9500 out the door! Had the "Upgrade Package" which was power steering, wind wing windows and a day/nite rearview mirror (wowzers!).

My first truck was actually an '84 2WD but I only owned it 6 months before buying the 4x4.

Now shopping for a TRD OR DCSB.

1983 restoration in progress, major mods so far new 6" lift and 35" Mickey Thompsons.
First was a 1982 SR5 that I bought new, don't remember what the cost was, I put over 500k on it, sold to a friend, he put around 250k on it, still running strong when he hit black ice out in Colorado and totaled it. (Can't find picture right now)

Currently have 2 Toyota's, one is a 2016 Limited, paid 40k out the door,

    20230703_153235.jpg

2nd is a 1983 Deluxe that I'm restoring, very slow going, paid 3k for it in 2017.

Sitting behind the truck is my best friend and helper, Ryley. She turned 10 this past April 24th.

I honestly forget, I was 16 and it was my first vehicle. I believe it was a 92 or 94.

I am in the Midwest as well, maybe the same truck! I believe I got it late 95, then traded it in a couple years later for a 94 Z28.

    Too many to list...
My first was a 2001 S-Runner stepside. Bought it new and was forced to sell a year and half later when I lost my job. Regretted it ever since.
My second and current is a 2021 DCLB TRD OR also bought new, which I love even more than the S-Runner.

No actual photos of the S-Runner, so here's a crappy one I found online.

The top one is NOT my truck, It's one that matches the 1992 I had inherited when my Dad passed away in 1997. That truck was a hoot to drive. When you say "base model" that 92 was indeed that. Vinyl seats, rubber floors, manual transmission, even the rear bumper was an option. I sold it in 2003 with approx. 145K miles on it, and one clutch replacement. Last I heard, it made a trip from New Jersey to Florida and is potentially still on the road down there.
The Bottom is my 2022 TRD Sport the day after I bought it. So far (a year after purchase) Not one issue what so ever.

My first Toyota truck was a beige 1982 regular cab with a manual transmission. My father in law gave it to me in 1990 after I totaled my wife's car on the way back from Mardi Gras. A tough little truck! It was his deer lease truck and looked terrible. I had it painted. And my current 2023 AC SX 4x4 3.5. People always say that they don't make them like they used to. Personally, I'm glad. I love my 2023. It's a helluva lot more comfortable to drive from Dallas to Austin in my 2023.
