Sounds like a lot of fun. I never heard of this event before and had to look it up because I have only lived in Illinois. It has been added to my bucket list for sure. Blacksmithing is definitely a skill that not many people possess and would love to learn how to some day. I am also Brotherhood and usually help out on our ceremonies team and occasionally our drum team. I think in the last post 'sadly' wasnt the best word but I meant that I am bummed that I aged out. I would have loved to get more merit badges but time got away from me. I am still glad that I kept working at getting Eagle and don't regret it at all and grateful for all the people that helped me along the way. Many people look at getting into the Honors Society is amazing and totally over look achieving Eagle and what kind of work goes into it. It sounds like Buck has a great friend because not many people these days would go and out of there way and invest in a truck they wont be owning much longer. Also what did he do for his project? For my project I made 113 blankets with 50 volunteers for a local hospitals cancer and perinatal center. I did my project at the beginning of last December and I'm glad I did because there is no way I could have done it right now or a few months ago since Illinois has been pretty strict with Covid stuff.

Thanks. I traded that sandstone, 2018 Honda CR-V in sitting on my left. Wish I had the black 2016 Tacoma SR5 back I traded for the Honda. (It was paid off) LOL! I would of financed the $5,000 to have the black paint Line-X'ed. Man that friggin black kept me busy.

That is why I got a silver one. I have not washed mine in just over a month. The rain keeps it rinsed off. I just have a place under the access cab windows on each side that black runs down after a rain. I just take a microfiber towel and some Wolfgang Uber Rinseless I have mixed up in a spray bottle and wipe those runs off after a rain.

What a great project!!!!! The 'friend' that sold the truck to Buck is a close friend of mine - LOL. He is older like me and has the money so he can do nice things like that. Buck did an outdoor worship area - with benches and landscaping.

His project sounds very unique and must have taken a good amount of work and planning! Hopefully it is enjoyed by those in the area.

Yeah it was/is nice and used a lot...he did it when he was 15 - got his Eagle at 16 so they've had it for almost 4 years. Take care of yourself - I'll look forward to your posts! Again - enjoy and be safe with that cool truck of yours!

Just picked up my truck today. Quicksand Sport, AC, MT with Predator Package. It's been 32 years since I drove a manual (1981 Toyota 4X4 with R22 engine, solid axle; sold it in 1988), but it came back all too easily. This is already a LOT of fun to drive!2020 Tacoma Truck.jpg

I’ll post a pic when it comes in 9/12 but I won’t let the Dealership take my pic and use it for advertising unless they pay me.

That's really nice looking! What is the predator package? Is that a regional thing? I've only heard that mentioned on that dealers YouTube channel from NC
