I see that you had a second Gen. Did you get in a wreck or just like the first gens better?

Well I really like the 1st gen better and the 2nd gen was a reg cab so I traded it in on my current 04 xtra cab 4x4, the 2nd gen was a reg cab 4x4. Both are silver and both are 4 cyl 5 speed. I like the narrowness and the more rugged feel of my 1st gen, hell that green reg cab has over 200k on original everything and I put it through hell, the guy I sold it to still drives it every day...

I had a 2000 X-Cab TRD V6 5spd, white w/BFG ATs. I thought I wanted something bigger so I traded up to a Hemi quad cab 4x4. AWESOME truck...but thirsty! Gas went over $4/gal shortly after I bought it. So I sold it after having it for a year and went searching for another 1G Tacoma. After18 months of searching, I bought a 2001 Silver version of my last Tacoma. Not as nice though. Still miss my first Tacoma. Kick myself for selling it. I like the 2000 model year better than the 2001-2004 a bit better. Not sure why, maybe interior. It seemed more durable. I also got better mileage out of that truck than I do now.

I have a 1975 Toyota Pickup 2wd (new paint, tires, wheels, custom interior, all planned for this summer for it), and My 2002 Black TRD Tacoma 4x4 Xtra cab (just bought about two weeks ago). I'm also working on buying a white 1989 Tacoma 4x4 Xtra cab a buddy has (new paint and rebuilt motor). Pictures this weekend.

This is my second Toyota. I owned a 2001 Tundra. But when I saw this truck, I sold my Tundra 2 weeks later to buy it.
