    Same bullshit, only 4 years later.

    Neither know what its like to live pay check to pay check. Neither know what the "Middle Class" really is. Which sucks. I am waiting for a canidate to come out and say "I've been broke, I don't make 6 figures". But that won't be happening anytime soon

    Romney said virtually nothing of importance all debate long. He merely stated that he intends to fix everything lol. Yes Romney seemed more confident than Obama, a lot more, but Romney quite frankly is that arrogant bastard who thinks he knows everything and puts on the most fake face claiming he cares about the middle class, when it's no surprise he doesn't. His whole "I'm running because I care about the middle class" statement is laughable. He's a joke.

    ^This.

    Even if it was a fantastic debate, I still wouldn't hold either in very high respect.

    They are POLITICIANS, and therefore should not be trusted.

    Romney = :D
    Obama = :confused:

    Thats all I saw tonight.

    Romney spoke very articulately.
    Obama spoke like he was telling his speech while speeding down a gravel road.

    Disappointed that Afghanistan was not covered as a subject in the debate. If it's important enough to risk my Soldiers' lives by sending us there, it is important enough to be covered in the debate.

    The topics and answers shown over the past hour have confirmed in my mind that America is not at war, the American military is at war. America is at the mall.

    same shit as everyone else
    Foreign policy debate is later. This one was on economic issues. Three broad debates each based on separate issues.

    Romney did promise to keep the military strong. And after Obama apologizing to the whole world of American free speech i think Romney cares more for our military but agree that our soldiers are much more important than we want to think or pay attention to

    It was painful to watch Obama.

    Obama tripped over his own dick so many times, all Mitt could do was smile. :)

    Romney cleaned house tonight.... IMHO of course.

    I have to admit that I hadn't thought of that.

    Now that you mention it, it makes me both sad and angry. It's like we as a nation don't even acknowledge one of the most serious subjects involving our country. This should still be one of the most important foreign policy subjects.

    Pretty much. US public is fine with any combat action that doesn't affect lifestyle. If you're rationing resources (a la WW2) or drafting people (a la Vietnam), we'll get off our asses and give a shit, because this war is getting in the way of poker night.

    Otherwise...meh...CNN is still showing bombs footage, but American Idol is on.
