The war affects jobs, it affects spending, and it affects healthcare; all three were topics covered.

I didn't hear of any mention of how either candidate's healthcare system plans to bear the financial burden of supporting wounded warriors.

I know that it will be (should be) a major topic later, but with the amount of money invested/tied up in the war and other foreign conflicts, you think they would even mention it.

How much money have we poured into the sandbox at this point?

    I certainly hope so.

    EDIT:

Hopefully they won't ignore it by talking about the Lybia/Egypt stuff the entire time. They do seem very good at wasting time.

    Nailed it...

And it is too bad because a debate would be the perfect time to bring real issues to light. Instead it ends up being just more of the same beat-around-the-bush BS.

Part of his plan. Right.

Or maybe he realizes that there is almost nothing he can run on...his only "accomplishment" is obamacare. Other than that he hasn't done anything.

    neglect, mostly.
meh, it was ok. Romney "performed" better i thought, but a wholesome debate in general. im getting tired of hearing obama just bash romney and only talk about what he (obama) has done while in office; and im tired of hearing Romney just talk about what he did in Mass and what obama has done wrong. neither one really seem to have a clear or solid plan for the future. they just be pointing fingers yo.

it really doesn't matter. i'd be willing to say everybody that has voted in this poll and that will be voting in the election have already made up their mind on who they are voting for. kind of like a republican or democratic convention. what's the point in them? it's full of people who will cheer for you even if you said you were going to bulldoze babies in the street. the only people who a debate truly matters to are the undecided, or those that hear something that will make them get their asses off the couch and actually go vote. just sayin.

If Israel were nuked, What would a Mitt vs Obama office do? There is a very real, very real possibility this will happen during the next four years. We have had a commitment with Israel since about 1947 or 1948? Only in the last 4 years has that been in question. Israel is the ONLY democracy in the middle east, they are our only true ally.

There is no way that the candidates can talk about their policies in such a short period of time... again an actual informed voter MUST research each candidate before voting
