Your Opinion on the Presidential Debate?

i agree completely. one of the main reasons a "debate" is more of a beauty contest than anything else.
there were plenty of other non-political related factors why obama won the election four years ago, but one of the biggest ones (in my, and many others' opinion) is that McCain simply wasn't as much of a smooth talker as obama.

edit: though i might add, my first statement in that post was more so related to the election in general, not so much on the debate tonight.

Its not like either one are going to do anything to help me. They are just going to further antiquated ideals that dont represent the current times, and both will ensure their friends pockets are well lined. Lets face facts, I will be around for quite a while, and I will have to be part of the clean up crew that tries to fix our broke ass country in the future. We're broke now, and both candidates that are on the forefront of this current election, seek to break this country further. One will do it under the guise of pretending to help folks, the other will do it under the guise of being conservative. Neither will actually do anything...

Thats my personal stance. As a young 20-something, i look into the future, and the future looks back at me. It looks bleak, abysmal, and broken.
