not to sure if u know but these wont fit on your taco due to the caliper...its hard to find 16' steelies for the newer tacos. i bought mine from wheelersoffroad.com and i love them. i have heard u can shave the caliper down if thats what u were planning on doing....might be alot of trouble though not to sure.

idk if the 17's will, might wanna call 4 wheelparts up. i also tried the unique steelies after discounttire said they would fit, got them in and tried to mount them to find the caliper not allowing them to bolt on. i think your best bet is the wheelers offroad steelies...

I called up 4wheelparts and talked to a rep. I told him i had a 08 tacoma and he said with the 4.25 backspacing it wouldn't be an issue

I don't want to get 17's as that's what i have already, and for wheeling 16's would be better

Thanks for your input! I noticed you live in Clayton, GA. that's really cool because my uncle lived in Scaly Mountain which is really close to you. Not a lot of people know about that GA/NC border area but it is really nice. i love the smokies there. too bad we don't have our farm there anymore :(

So i actually got the 98's over the 52's. Unfortunately there was a 3 week backorder on the 52's and i don't have time to wait. the 98's are still pretty cool. i'll post some pics when i get em!

So my rims don't fit even with 3/8" spacers!!! they say they are 4.25 backspacing but where the holes are punched out, the metal sticks out into the caliper area!! would 2.5" backspacing solve my problem, or would they look funny??

Well this thread is pretty informative to me, as I now think I know what rims i have:D. Looks like I have the 52's. The guy I bought them from didn't tell me what they were, but said they cost him around $250.

I'm not one for circles...I really like my steelies...they look great on red!
