    I'm NOT going to lie.
My perfect truck would be MINE as of Today and another 10-15K budget. I'd be happy.

I just test drove the Ford Raptor last weekend. I'm NOT going to lie. It was indeed a Beast and well, I still wasn't in love with it.

The few salesmen on the lot couldn't stop looking at my truck. Made me feel TONS of a lot better when I left.

There are things about that RAPTOR I was drooling over, just because we're all Truck guys. When I got into my truck, I felt right at home.

considering you have put like $50,000 in just mods ray, wich most of them you have done multiple times....what would another $10,000 add to your truck :p

:frusty: Buyer's remorse on my truck. What I really wanted was the white, regular cab, non-sr5, 4x4.. What I got was the silver DC Prerunner because I was too impatient back in 2005 to wait for the lot to stock up on Tacomas. I got the first batch of silver Tacomas that the lot had. DAMN! I find myself looking up Tacoma's on Craigslist every now and then. I might even trade it in for a 2005 4x4 Xterra, Lol.

Just owned my Tacoma for 2 months, but I LOVE it!
    I have owned 03 F150, 05 F150, 09 F150 and 11 F250
of all the 4 past Ford's I have owned I NEVER got more than 14 mpg and with every new purchace of the 4 Fords I always had that sick, or sunkin down in the stomach feeling of regret , guilt and second thoughts or buying those new Fords, but was never happy with any.
But, when I purchaced my new Tacoma 2 months ago I never got that bad feeling for buying it, I was happy with my truck for the first time in my life!
I don't know what it is! all I know I am very happy, content and relaxed with my Tacoma, even when my other pickup owner friends tell me I am crazy for buying one!
For the first time I enjoy driving, when I owned my Ford's I hated driving them, I didn't want to drive them, it was a burden and work to drive, but with my Tacoma I LOVE driving it, its FUN to drive! Its easy to drive, I feel like a kid again driving it, its a life changing experience for me, I am down to 3 bowel movements a day, my headaches are gone and I am back to eating whole wheat bread and fruit, I dress up nice when I drive my Tacoma, this truck is changing me!

Honestly, I think I could make a Tacoma work for my "perfect" truck.
I think I would like a regular cab 4x4, small lift, 31" mud tires.
    Manual trans.
Small V8 with a near bulletproof trans. and transfer case that can handle hard launches and lots of downshifts.
    Manual lockers front and rear
Strong frame and body with high towing and hauling capabilities
    Bucket seats
Vinyl floors with drain plugs built in.
