Your sub suggestions for a gen 2 Tacoma

    I currently have the pioneer AVH-X4800BS stereo the kicker tweeters for the fronts and JL c1 690tx 6x9’s for the front and 3 way pioneers for the rear but I was thinking about adding a sub more than likely in a sub box behind the rear seats any suggestions for a sub, box , and amp that would work?

    For behind the seats, you'll probably need to consider a shallow mount sub. I recently installed a JL Audio 10 TW3, ported, behind the driver side rear seats. My rear seats do not fold back, but it was built knowing that. Taco Tunes has an enclosure for behind the driver rears, but I think it's for an 8", if you're good with that. I have a 400W Kicker amp.

    Or you could do an enclosed sub like the Sound Ordinance

    b-8ptd. I had that and it fit under the drivers seat. Gave great bass (for what it is), but lots of butt vibes.
