With (see my Avatar). The chrome bezel and center logo is just right.

 

That'll tie it for sure!

In this example, as in yours I suppose, it helps take the focus off the hood scoop so I may change my vote.

 

Even though I was leaning for "without" I think you're right

 

I say leave it chrome but I am biased. .

Maybe color match your truck? That would look bad ass.

 

Which ever you think makes that gaping grill visually smaller. For me the chrome surround and emblem break it up a little.

Kinda like a too big butt in tight solid color pants, vs a full skirt with a soft pattern to it. Camouflage is the best you can do.

Of course I also think the grill is the worst cosmetic feature of the truck, totally out of whack with the slick lines of the tailgate. And I like tastefully done chrome.

 

Get some Toyota Quicksand Paint paint the logo done

 

Oddly enough, I think I like the "chrome" logo. But I do think the surrounding trim should be blacked out.

 

Personally, if I was going to color match anything it would the chrome surround. Doing that would shrink the size of the grill.

Oh yeah...keep the emblem.

I spent 30 seconds with GIMP and blacked the surround on your fist pic



And then the surround and the emblem on your second.



Done in a hurry so please don't critique too harshly, but hopefully it can help you decide.

I know,Rob Daman this the ultimate grill for this truck, unfortunately for now is derping !

 

If the bezel is chrome leave the symbol chrome... or black it all out.

 

Get rid of the chrome. I debadged mine yesterday and plastidipped the grill emblem. My truck is now one day chrome free!
