The whole truck you’ve posted there is unique. Not many reg cabs being tracked

    Wheels brought back to life.
Refuse to pay 90-100 for center caps so riding without them.

With the weather starting to dip into the 60s, I was finally motivated enough to install the seat heaters I've been sitting on since spring (pun intended):

    Console Switch.jpg
Switch installed where the coin tray(?) was located on the center console using a custom adapter.

    Switch Light.jpg
Icon is blue with headlights on (thinking about trying to change it over to red to match rest of interior lighting.

    Heaters on.jpg
    Dials glow red when activated.

    Heater - Seat Base.jpg
Heating pad installed on lower cushion.

    Heater - Seat Back.jpg
Heating pad installed on seat back cushion.

Overall, the install was fairly easy and went more smoothly than expected. While I had everything apart, I took the opportunity to install a new base cushion on the driver's side seat and swapped the foam between the two seat backs. Amazing what a difference the new/lightly used foam pieces made! Easily added an inch of height to the driver's seat and lumbar support was much improved.

Got this thing installed in my truck. I will need new connectors to use the electrical features granted by the IS300 wheel and clockspring, but I can enjoy this wheel until then. I would love to find some grey leather that matches my dash. If so, I will reupholster the steering wheel in that.

The kit was Rostra p/n 250-1872. Happy to answer any specific questions!

Did that switch come with your seat heaters or was it a separate purchase? Where did you pick up the adapter? I'd like to install some heaters this winter and that switch is the perfect location and size.

Yep, it was part of the Rostra kit (250-1872). I designed and 3d printed the adapter; if you're interested in one, PM me.

That's seriously so beautiful. I'd love one if it didn't cost so much for you to make it, and knowing my experience with body work I would never have the patience to do it myself...

Easily one of the cleanest installs I have seen. I might also PM you for that part, I have had getting my RSX seats fixed and putting a heating kit in it on my list for a while now.
