cross-posted in the BST threads but wanted to share here as well :)

designed a little tray/organizer for the lower part of the center console for 01-04 tacomas. one simple version with open storage and another with coin storage.

wanted to mount some amber hellas but didn't want to drill through the front bumper. ended up fabbing up a bracket out of 1/4" steel that mounts to one of the vertical brackets behind the grill. pleased with how it turned out!

this one's pretty silly but was still fun to make -- cash/pen holders for the underside of 1995-2000 tacoma console lids. this will also work with 3rd gen 4runners that don't have the secret flip-down compartment. filleted edges on each side of the holder make the elastic strap easier to manipulate. holder mounts to preexisting holes on underside of console lid so you don't have to drill into your lid.

Couldn’t find a disappointed meme that went hard enough for this post. American Racing wheels aren’t unique. Just a dick post in general.

Nice bracket! Beefy enough to handle the weight of the lights. Thanks for the inspiration.

I haven't been happy with any other cell phone mounts until I figured out how to make this one. I am really happy with this one.

I found this cheap $6 cell phone holder on Amazon:

$6 OIUYT Multifunctional Mobile Phone Bracket,2022 Upgraded Self Adhesive Dashboard Mount Car Phone Holder, Adjustable Width Car Sticky Navigation Mobile Phone Bracket for All Mobile Phones(A)

    .

I read the complaints about the crappy adhesive, so I replaced the adhesive with the good, red-backed 3M tape after I got the holder.

I bought a spare key blank for my Tacoma and bent it over 90 degrees. I had a spare scrap of flat ABS plastic the size of the bottom of my phone, so I put the holder corners on my phone and pressed the ABS plate onto the holder corners and bolted it all onto the bent key:

I plugged the key into the air bag switch, and now I have a well placed, sturdy cell phone holder. It does block the emergency flasher switch a little bit, but I don't really care about that:

Since it is an uncut key blank, it can't turn the switch. It works really well for me.

lol that is quite unique. Can't say i've ever seen anyone use a key as a method of securing a phone mount like that.
Can't imagine it would hold on too well offroad though

I would be curious as to how well it would work off-road. My truck is a base model 2WD auto. No off-roading for me...

Not sure it's unique, but it is rare to get a 95.5-97 mechanical cluster with a speedo. I swapped one into my Tacoma this week. I was able to use my odometer too.

I have 17x8 Mustang Bullit wheels, with Al hubcentric rings, with 30mm ET, with 245/40/17's.

With a custom security system, that doesn't require me to lock my truck.

I'm currently having a fuelpump quandary. Please see my other post, if you can help.

    Thanks in advance!

    Thanks!

He's a great dog, I lucked out with him!
Jakes aka Yikes is almost 2, and from K9 lines. I adopted him 3 months ago and he has a great temperament.

Fantastic security system! If I were willing to clean the hairs after, I would occasionally secure mine using my American Bulldog lol
