Posted this elsewhere, but think it’s a relevant mod for this thread. 2nd gen bed rails on a 1st gen using M6 rivnuts. Recently layered in the bed rack which helps prevent any opposing moment force when using the OEM tie down cleats.

Is that PCH in the background? Are you going to get a rtt or a tonal cover?

That photo is from my backyard in central Phoenix. That’s one of the towers on Osborne in the background.

I’m currently lurking OfferUp for a good deal on a roof top tent. I’m planning to install a Softtopper below the bed rack so I can have a drawer system in the bed.

Have you messed with ASA at all? I upgraded to an all metal hotend on my v2 neo and have been doing some prints in ASA with an enclosure with good results.
Much better high temp resistance and durability

i steer clear of ASA and ABS because I print in my apartment -- and I don't have mechanical ventilation. ASA and ABS both exhaust some really toxic fumes, unfortunately. so that's why i stick to PET-G :)

Fair enough. If you print with an enclosure it mitigates a lot of those fumes, but I would be weary printing those in an apartment as well. There's essentially no detectable smell when I use my enclosure with ASA

Coilovers, sway bars, wheels, tires, extended studs, intake, head and taillights, seats, short shifter,
I axed the LSPV for a Wilwood adjustable proportioning valve and swapped back from the Lexus SC300 Brake Master/Booster setup to a Tacoma one. Also added a stainless line from the prop valve to the rear axle.

Custom bumper and step rail plus many other custom upgrades. This was my late son's 1st gen 96'. It was sitting for over 3 years. Poured a lot of money and TLC into the old girl (Karen).

When I did my Marlin Short Shifter, the noise from the tranny was too much in the cab so I took some rubber heater hose and some zip ties and put the hose around the shifter where it comes of the transmission and screwed the aluminum part of the shifter up against the hose so it will dampen the vibration going through the shifter. It was a night and day difference.

Been awhile since I visited this forum. Very cool idea. Will visit your shop as suggested in another post.
