How do you like the Back vinyl so far? Would you recommend somebody to get the gray instead, or does the black look good with the gray interior?

I am happy with the black looks good IMO. Don't have to worry about it getting stained or anything too

I want to be able to get it off when I go through a car wash, or go off-roading so it doesn't get snapped by a tree!

yea lucky for use the glass is solid and the physical mirror pivots unlike the 2nd gens were the glass is what pivots. So it makes it like a spot light.

    Should be cool when done.

only crappy part is that its pretty much impossible to get them apart without breaking the glass  the outer ring that holds it in bends and cracks it. I have to cut my original mirrors out from the back to pop out the glass to replace the glass in the spares i bought to mount the lights...thats the only crappy part.

What kind of adhesive will you use to secure the new glass in place?

Is there special "automotive mirror adhesive"

none needed. I should have taking pics..well i still can..but the out ring has a lip that holds it against that honey comb layer. BUT it also has smaller other tabs that actually hold the glass against the ring.

Thats why when you try and pop out the ring the ring lifts the glass as well thus breaking it in half

Nothing really totally unique but I put Gear Alloy Recoil 17x9 with Cooper AT3s on mine. I have a tag I picked up in Ireland back in 08' that ill get a pic of today. I also have a new suspension going on tomorrow (OME nothing special really) and 2 10" Fosgate P1's in a box on either side of the center hump in the back. When I got my Alpine Head unit I went ahead and installed a iPod cable from the head unit and ran it out of the glovebox.

Ill get some pics today and show them to you guys. You can see my rims and tires in my sig below

Well I got pretty sick and tired of forgetting that my phone is in the upper part of the center console, only to lift it up and hear my phone crash inside of it so I affixed two belt clips to the inner wall then slide on a beefy case.

Now all I do is put my phone in the case and it stays put... and protected (especially when wheeling)

^^^I did something similar, except instead of fixing a case to the side, I just put so much junk in there nothing has room to move around when I flip up the console.
