My father has an autobody shop. I had him mix some up for me. A shop should be able to make some for you with the texture you want. I just went with a finer grit than what would normally be used. Its good to go in the woods and not worry about scratches.

My first attempt at welding aluminum. Removed the rear seat and made a bracket using the original bolt holes. Now holds a Yeti cooler (Birthday gift from my awesome wife) upload_2016-4-9_11-12-53.jpg

earlier years came with these. I like having the option to put it down out of harm when off road but it freezes up in the winter.

Luckily I don't have that problem in Southern California haha!

It's pretty cool to have, I always hated my antenna waving around when I was off-road

I bought it off of Amazon, just a one-size-fits-most sort of deal. Once I figured out how to wire it, all I had to do was carefully widen the hole where the antenna sticks out of the fender. Otherwise it was pretty straightforward.

How's the reception? Also do you have it wired to go on with the radio?

Yeah, you have to find the right pin on the back of the radio, but it hooks right up to the stock unit. It comes up when the radio turns on, and reception is pretty good (about what I expected)

I have an old army ammo can in my bed that holds my chains, snatch block, and one of my straps. The two pieces of wood bring it to bed level.
