You can play, 3rd gen 4Runners have more in common with 1st gen Tacomas than 2nd gen Tacomas or 3rd Gen Tacomas have in common with 1st gen Tacomas.

That won't work on an 01-04. The cup holders are in the center console unfortunately.

My 04 that is 100% stock does not have cup holders above the CD Player that pushes into the dash; I just went out and checked. I was hoping that I was mistaken as I'd like some.

Might be able to swap that center dash piece the cup holders are in?

If you look at pictures of the 97 radio bezel, it is a different shape. The 98-04 bezel includes the ash tray while the 95.5-97 does not. The 95.5-97 has a separate dash piece for that, but even swapping that in isn't possible because the 98-04 is one piece on the passenger side of the dash. You could potentially trim it to fit, but I'm guessing things won't line up correctly.

The radio bezel is a terrible place for cup holders. The HVAC blows right onto your drink.

Besides being unable to reach my heater controls, or see my radio, I kinda like it. Keeps your drink cool in the summer and coffee hot in the winter

    Those are from clipsandfasteners.com

The OEM ones are hard to remove without breaking them. I got these because they are threaded.

    Beautiful.
How much did this setup cost you, assuming you installed everything yourself?

Around $3500-4000 Including an AEM unit and the potential for 350 HP :D And I installed it all myself.

Time consuming. Not necessarily hard but definitely tedious. It took me about 5 days total install time. Over a period of two weeks since I didn't have all the parts I needed. I'm actually about to make a in depth how-to turbo a 5vzfe thread. In the next few days. :D Id say its totally worth it.

Not bad! As much as I want a turbo on my 2.7l, there's no economically sensible way it would ever make sense for me to get one. Lol.

Where has this thread been all my life?

Does running a Greddy EMU w/ Split Second enricher count as a unique mod, doubt many or even a few run this EMS.
