I love the look of the 3rd Gen TRDOR rims on our trucks! I powder coated mine gloss black.

Yeah that sounds awful. Even with the molding it came out shitty IMO. Def helped figure out what went where though.

I kind of wedged it in with a few cuts, threw the carpet on top and drew a template and made more cuts

I'm not sure if I'm the first to do this but I put in Subaru WRX seats. They are amazingly comfortable. We did a 10hour drive and my wife didn't even mind and the older seats would have killed us. They don't flip forward like the old seats, which is awkward, but I'm going to see if I can mod them to come farther forward.

Those are SAF! How are they mounted? Did you use the Tacoma brackets?

Damn I was interested in the swap till you said that. It's the only way I can get some of my bigger boxes in the extra cab, and was how I was going to get a fridge in there eventually.

I have four Delco-Remy horns from a 1980's Cadillac DeVille in my truck. Each horn plays A, C, D, and F notes respectively. Hell of an improvement over stock - people actually pay attention when you honk now. Sounds like a damn train horn.

Here's the setup on my own personal truck:

    IMG_3728.jpg

I just finished up making a plug-n-play setup for someone on the forum shown below. It is powered by 12v from your battery, fused by a 20 amp fuse (each horn draws 5 Amps each), and controlled by a relay. A lead from the relay plugs into your factory horn trigger wiring and will sound the Cadillac horns without any modification of the stock Tacoma wiring system. I can set it up in a way to include your stock horn(s) if you really wanted. (You can have up to six horns!)

    IMG_3763.jpg

Here's a video of the horns in action on my truck:

And here's a video of the setup stock on a Cadillac El Dorado:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B3e5BCE9zFI

If you'd be interested in a setup for your own truck PM me and we can work something out. As you can see in the picture above I make a plug-n-play kit that bolts inside of your factory valence under the grille.

I just put new ones on that I ordered from Rock Auto. They weren't that expensive. Just several bucks a piece.

Do you have any pictures of your chain setup? I have a few bike chains laying around.

I've got leather seats from a Subaru Crosstrek, super comfortable, but I need to redo the brackets because it sits about an inch and a half higher than stock, not great for getting in and out, awesome on the trail for vision. I gotta do something about the fact they don't flip forward too, can't access the back very well. Figured I'd have to do some cutting on the stops, should be easy enough except Subaru seats are made or fucking Czech steel or something, my brother who's a firefighter said they're the toughest seats to hack through, guess that's a good thing IMG_0751.jpg
