Your unique mod on the 1st Gens

This looks great. Care to share details? Did you just fab up a cover and then throw some bolt type leds in?

 

Swapping the front end of my 01 over to the older Tacoma, using a hood, grille, and hood latch from a 98.


And installed some 7” round heated Truck-lite LED’s using 1980 Toyota pickup truck buckets. I’ll be cutting and welding an aluminum fill plate, then powder coat if black to match the grille. The light output is great.

I have a set of buckets, fog lights, and LED’s that I need to get cut into this bumper. I did this on the last bumper. I really like this compared to the plain look of this bumper.

2001 TRD off road v6 4x4 manual. Got a rollbar with some lights on top. Don’t see that much these days

 

Badass. I do like the old school roll bar with lights better than the new light bars over the cab.

Your truck looks great!! I think you need to white out the letters on your tires and it give that definite 80's vibe.

Hood Scoop and Projector Headlights

 

1996 single cab, 2002 front clip with rear frame & box. Cab mounts moved up/back 2.5” and boxed in.Frame was sandblasted,painted,under coated and then wax oiled. Custom gas tank relocation and fuel door. 1997 3.4 manual drivetrain.Custom aluminum cold air intake with box behind headlight. Shaved door locks with 2 tone handles and remote locks.Custom door panel inserts . All interior pieces resprayed with a darker graphite grey paint. Removable wheel hub and aftermarket wheel. Tinted headlights and taillights. Box liner on grill, flares, lower body line down,handles, mirrors, back of cab, and inside of floor and back cab. Custom cement grey industrial paint mix. Truck was fully disassembled right down to the frame and built back up. Have a custom checker plate box liner with rails for a rtt rack. Has Honda buckets on custom rails. Custom raised shifters. Currently building a rear bumper with tire/gas swing out carrier and front bumper. After that I have to fab up sliders and maybe a headache rack. Have lots of pictures of this build lol.. cheers
