That looks amazing swollen, but looks like a 4"+ lift.

The old Ridgeline could only be lifted 2" max, any more and it would cause problems with the front suspension

My niece and her husband have a 4 year-old Pilot and love the hell out of it. However, they hate the new design and think that it has no personality. This Ridgeline looks even more generic.

I expect to see it on a lot painted white with the words "Truck, Light Duty" stenciled on the side.

I'm sure it will have Honda's known quality and dependability, but lacks the distinct personality the first Ridgeline had. I think it's a miss, like Nissan's new Titan. They both meet the dictionary definition of truck but fail to capture that "it" factor that the Tundra, Tacoma, F-150, and even Silverado (even though I've heard nothing but complaints from my coworkers who own them) have.

It is a known fact that I may be biased to the new Tacoma (and '72 Chevy) though...

Yeah there is no way you could lift it that high...not to mention it will kill the mpg...(which is the reason one would buy the Honda in the first place)

Reminds of a HiLux when it is photoshopped lifted.

It is funny, I was cruising the Ridgeline forum...seems like a lot hate the new design. While I thought the old design was awful looking, and dig the new one...love that it is generic looking...and doesn't have the huge cod piece grill that everyone else's trucks seem to have...so over the machoism.

Kinda like how on 2nd gens you have to cut shit off the frame in order to fit bigger tires?

CV angles limit the amount of lift on any independent suspension truck. Tacoma's can safely be lifted ~2.5" before you really start to kill your CVs.

I've read the same. Although I didn't mind the old styling, I do like the new truck. I wish it came with a little more ground clearance and tow rating, then it would be exactly what I need.

I don't do that much hard off road driving. Still like the Tacoma. However, the RL has my interest. If the seats are more comfortable than the Tacoma, nicer ride on pavement, and good as better turning radius, I will consider the Honda.

The Tacoma is ok in ride quality, though my wife thinks the seats are not comfortable for her back. It will be interesting to see a RL in person and drive one this spring. I did test drive a limited Tacoma 4x4 and thought it was pretty nice though I would like better seats.
