Awesome build so far. I just bought one of these last week, an 04 with about 175k miles on it. All stock too. Do any of you guys have the navigation package? If so, how are you playing music via Aux/USB? I know some do the tape cassette adapter, but I also know they make DIY kits to enable Aux/USB through the Navi system.

I sent him pictures of my frame and he's working on a solution. With the holidays and all going on, I haven't wanted to bother him. I'll check in next week to see what the update is. We're thinking it's just a difference between model years. He's only had a couple of KDSS rigs in his shop so it's very possible that minor changes in the routing of lines and placement of components on the frame rail could have been made between model years and he wasn't aware of it.

How is your truck treating you so far? Any recent work done to it? Been kinda quiet in here!

The truck is great! There's a few mechanical things I need to address. I have an exhaust leak at the manifolds that the 2UZ is infamous for. I also need to replace my evap core at some point due to a freon leak. But nothing in the way of mods. I'm trying to save up for a house down payment at the moment so the GX has taken a back seat. Only thing I'm really planning for right now is a rebuild/revalve of the shocks, changing it the UCAs, and getting new bumpstops. But that will likely be late this year. Next wheeling trip will be Jambo in May.

Good to hear it's still treating you well. Mine is running good, only mechanical issue I will need to address is the transfer case actuator seal is leaking pretty good. Supposed to be fairly common on these trucks, and it's NOT cheap to fix.

Some Hankook MTs will look good on your rig too. Shoot, I'm starting to find really any AT/MT looks good on these trucks. Lol. Im about to throw some used BFG K02's on mine, give me a little more peace of mine when Im out wheeling it.

Both are equally SEXXXYYY. Looks like a good time. Love how they are both black/white combos too. Such a good combination.... especially for these trucks IMO.

I hop in my GX470 from time to time and still think; "dang, this feels like a $80k truck" as I'm romping around some dirt and rocks. Lol. I am thoroughly in love with the GX platform though. I'm glad I bought one when I did.

I'd love to have a 200/LX570. Maybe once the GX is paid off.
