That dude rules. He was excited about my truck too. Him driving me around after the install was a blast.

He also played with my dog a bunch and worked on some training with him in the waiting area. Ha!

Shop is having issues getting the front resis mounted because of the KDSS. Waiting for them to come up with a solution and give me a call to tell me how much the price is going to go up. Really hope it's an easy fix that isn't terribly expensive. Hopefully I'll hear back this afternoon.

If it's just a bracket it shouldnt be to much. If they have to get longer hoses that would probably be the expensive part.

He came up with a solution. He's modifying the FJ brackets I have instead of fabbing up new ones. And it's only costing about 1/4 of what it would for him to fab new ones. He said he'll give me a call around lunch tomorrow when they're done.

Unfortunately I work until 5pm tomorrow so I'll have to wait a bit to enjoy it. Oh well, it's been since Saturday, I can wait a bit longer lol.

Still trying to figure out how to upload my pictures where they're not massive like the one I currently have up. Is it huge for anyone else or just me?

Can't wait to see it all put together! Definitely a cool rig.

The rear door strut has been on my list of to-dos. Where did you happen to get it and what PN#?

I bought the exact parts in this thread. Worked great! Took a matter of minutes to install. Best thing I've done so far. Like he says in that thread, the stainless ends aren't required but I like the design of them better than the regular ones that come with the strut. Plus they're more blingy and it is a Lexus so I had to splurge the extra $9 lol.

I figured that was the one you got. After the fiasco I had trying to get the correct hood struts, I wanted to make sure it worked for someone else first haha. My front and rear bumpers are off right now so it's the perfect time to get it done. Thanks!

It's done! Leaving work in about an hour to go pick it up. Took a bit more work than expected but they got it done after some modification of the resi brackets. Ended up having to modify both sides instead of just the driver side like we originally thought.
