YouTube Premium

I don't watch ANY network television, and haven't for several years.
I am a big user of YouTube, but have about had it with the commercials.

Question: If I suscribe to YouTube Premium, will that get rid of ALL the commercials?

 

It did for me as far as Youtube Music goes.

Get Adblocker no ads

 

I'm big on youtube and youtube music also, I do feel like the ads have been more apparent the past year. I still like I can skip most ads after 5 sec. hasn't gotten to the point for me to pay for it though.

 

Youtube is heavy on the adds to try and force people into their premium service. No thanks.

 

Thanks for the feedback folks! A simple change has made a HUGE difference.

Most of my YouTube time is spent watching stuff on my Samsung Tablet. My biggest complaint was so many middle of the video ads.
When looking into Adblocker I read about not using the YouTube app directly, but to run it thru a web browser instead.

So I tried that today and the difference was AMAZING! (And I haven't intalled Adblocker yet,)

I simply launched YouTube from inside Chrome, and so far I've seen some before and after ads, but NO middle of the video ads. I was seeing a lot of those before.

 

Just get the Premium service I did it back in October and have had it since, no ADs what so ever just video content. I will say that it is one of the more expensive subscription services out there but I can't stand ads. Then if you get some asshole that throws 10 ads into their video the premium service lets you avoid all that nonsense. Some of these ads are just as long as the videos you are watching also.

 

Snapchat Premium > Youtube Premium

how much is youtube premium? Im also thinking about getting cus I dont watch tv, I like watching the things im into, tv I only used to watch nfl, nba finals, & MLB World series and thats about it, only old people watch tv

 

It will block all ads if you're signed in. It obviously can't do anything about the content creators plugging ads in the content itself, but YouTube Premium block all the ads between and over videos. If you use YouTube like TV, it's definitely worth your money.

 

its about $15.99 a month, theres ways to get it cheaper I think through student discounts or something like that I think.

 

When they plug ads in the video you can just skip through with double tapping past it though.

yeah i figured the amount of time i spend on youtube and youtube music the $16 was worth it given how much time would be spent looking at ads even with skipping at the 15 or 30sec time limit
