It will oxidize, and possibly show signs of galvanic corrosion where it meets the steel parts but nothing major. Oxidization based on what I have heard and read is a natural form of anodizing. Just not as pretty. I had my bare aluminum racks on my truck for months with not problems.

I plan to paint or powdercoat it anyway eventually when I decide on a color. for now it will be fine though.

Hopefully right around the $250 mark but it will depend. I got this one cut as part of a bunch of other new products so I don't know the individual cost that well.

Sure, just let me know what parts you need. Were you able to find a used rack someone was getting rid of?

Sorry meant to post this in the rack for sale thread! Yeah actually the one on ksl. The roof rack and bed rack for $425 it was too good to pass up. Some shop made it up in Ogden. Not near as goodlooking as your racks but good enough.

So I basically need all the hardware that you use to mount your rack to the cab using the pre existing holes. (Bolts, spacers) and whatever else you use to mount it. Because the ones he gave me don't look that great.

Wow, that skid looks nice! I see one of those along with one of your cab racks in my future! Very impressed with your work.

Thanks hoping to put some final touches on within the next week or two.

Rear bumper, sliders, and finish off the skids. Install my cb radio and I think I will be mainly done.

Yeah I keep that thought in the back of my mind but really cant see myself doing much else. New tires each year. Maybe new wheels down the road, but everything is functional and I will have everything I need or want. :)
