Swapped out the upper ball joints on my Light Racing UCA's a week ago. Still haven't gotten the alignment done. I will be posting some pics and videos but after about 25k miles they were in rough shape. Especially the driver's side. Pretty sure it was the cause of some weird tire wear I was getting awhile back.

Also added my PrInSu Design Studio Mid Skid yesterday. Excited to have more protection under there and the aluminum is so light it doesn't hurt economy or overall weight too bad. Next up is the t-case skid.

Glad I ditched those headache UCA's last year. Hopefully you have the newer style bushings otherwise that's a whole new can of worms.

Yeah I have the newer bushings. They have been good. Just the ball joints that went out pretty quick. Do you like the Total Chaos?

Skids are looking stellar! Yeah, I've got the LR UCAs and I'm pretty sure they came with the newer style ball joints. They seem super beefy.

I don't provide tracks, but the rack is made to bolt to whatever tracks your shell has.

About how y'all is your truck? I ask cause I'm about 6'1 and I'm looking at doing a 3" on my truck but I like my truck to be a little taller than me.
    Thanks, Andrew

Haha it belongs to the company where I spend my days. We use it to get aerial photography of project areas to use as base maps under maps and drawings. I get to "practice" on the weekends, and definitely need it.

Mine are 39" on center, which puts my rack at 44" wide. I would recommend anywhere from 39" to 42" wide to get the widest rack possible. At 42" wide the rack will match my rack on the cab of the truck. Mine is actually a bit narrower although not noticeable.

I wonder what the width on the tracks are from the factory.

I mentioned it somewhere but I have seen anything from 35" apart to 42". It varies from dealer to dealer and there doesn't seem to be an exact industry standard. I tend to see 37-39" most commonly regardless of the type of shell.

You can simply email the cap dealer or manufacturer, or I would even stop and look at truck caps around your town and measure first hand.

This, ask your dealer. Obviously if you install them yourself you can put them wherever you want.

Where did you feed the wire thru on the reverse lights on the top rack?
