Nice! I bet the labor costs would be pretty extensive... Looks good dude!

Labor is what gets you. Usually 2-4k for a wrap depending on materials used and the work being done. It took every bit of the weekend to get it done, I remember looking at my phone after I finished on sunday and my battery level was 97% after a 12-16hr day. So that should tell you it was non stop all day, tearing the truck apart/cleaning and prep/laying the vinyl/getting all the bubbles out/cutting the excess/putting parts back on

I told myself I wouldn't probably never do it again but recently been looking at new colors for late this year or next

I paid 3k for my wrap which included printing the wrap, applying the vinyl, and then doing the clear laminate over the top.

Yeah I felt like it was fair. Most of the places in the area were similar in price.

What do the door jams look like with the vinyl? Do the vinyl places do them too?

That included labor. I dropped it off and they took about 3 days to do it.

Probably depends. They didn't do mine so when you open the door you can see the color still. Its not really noticeable with mine though because one of the main colors of the wrap is close to my paint color.

Depends if you have them wrapped or not, most people do not. I think any well known vinyl shop should be able to, thats a whole new skill level compared to just wrapping the outside especially if you are able to manage it with very little overlap

I think its best to skip the insides and pick a color that doesn't clash against your factory paint so much, its hard for most people to tell my truck is wrapped at a glance even if I open the door or if they open the door themselves. Hell I don't even have my roof wrapped and haven't had one single person point it out lol

Now if my truck were red to begin with then I would be inclined to do the insides

Neither is the roof on the shell, no one ever notices. The racks hide it well plus the color isn't far off from the factory

I'm nervous about this. I just got delivery of my Dakars and custom length Icon's are on order. I don't have any weight in the rear just yet and am hoping I won't regret having the Dakars.

As far as selling them? Not sure. I have a set on my truck that are working great.

Yeah, selling. I've been holding off on skids hoping you'd release them at some point.

I am happy to build a one off set for you. Probably will take about 3-4 weeks to get them cut and welded up. Just not sure if I can handle a big batch of orders on skids too right now with how many rack orders I have open.

Did you ever rub with the 3.5bs wheels? How much trimming/chopping did you do?

Zach thanks for the help on my Tacoma build. Here are a few pics. When I installed my RTT it sat across the cab and cap racks. I felt nervous about articulation twisting the body of the truck and tearing something up. I ordered 6 additional cab rack feet. You were quick to get them to me. I put them on top of the cross bars on the cab rack. I then mounted the RTT on top of them. It raised the RTT approximately 1.5 inches. Perfection and it mataches the rack design.

Zach makes great products and has always emailed me with responses and been very helpful.

    Thanks again
