You're in San Diego. Grab a few buddies and go down to the shop and load your truck on a trailer. Take it @jeffz0rz and be done with it. I know it seems like a pain. But this isn't the last problem you'll have with this shop

Trust me, the thought has crossed my mind, however they are still on the hook for replacing a few grad in stereo equipment that got ripped out of my truck while it was in their shop. :rain:

I've known James to make it right at the end of the day, I'm giving them the chance to fix it. Hope for a good outcome.

I still think you need to cut the cord and they should hand you a check for everything they owe you...it's pretty clear that it is just not going to turn out well...

Jeff is swamped and he's got two more big builds on the way but if Jeff is too busy take it to @glorifiedwelder

Is it really worth having a shitty suspension just to get a nice stereo?

Derek, call Jeff (619)249-1901 to check his availability. I was at his house a few weeks ago and he had a 1st gen there for a full link set up, a 2nd gen for a full build and I believe Vance's truck was being dropped off for a full front and rear build too. If Jeff is too busy it would be well worth your time to take it to Jason in Valencia, he knows his shit and does super clean work.

I appreciate all the input and I know Jeff and Jason do awesome work, but I'm pretty committed to the Truck Shop right now.

James has promised to make it right and I'm sure him and his team will do a great job just as they always have.

He's bringing in some extra skilled hands to work full time on this job.

Should see some good progress and quality work coming out soon.

Can't wait to be on the trail again soon.

Well, we appear to be back on track! Axle is back in the truck, new body bushings have been installed, front diff is out and getting re-geared, the remaining mounting points from my leaf springs and panhard setup have all been cut out along with the spare tire bracket, 4-link getting dialed in, new beefy coil buckets coming together, there is also talk about a rear sway bar.

PLEASE before they do anything else make them put the springs on, put rear wheels on and fully articulate it in front of you. Unless I am a complete fucktard there is no way your tires are not going to hit your CO's when the rear axles does this / and this \ .

What are you going to do for a gas tank now ?

Even better, a big piece of PVC pipe with the same outside diameter as the spring, and the same length as the compressed coil length which can be looked up online or measured.

    But I agree with Jason.

taking bets on that the coil is going to hit the frame. im in for 10$ it does. but it does look way better than the version before.

Dual Toyota truck stock tanks in the back, should get to 34 Gallons. Shop has experience setting this up on multiple rigs so it likely the best option until I want to dig in on a few cell.
The've got those tubes mounted on the bump stop plates to make sure everything clears at what will be full bump.

Should hopefully be able to see it cycle soon, likely going to have dual rate coilovers on the 16" kings.

Fix these, going to be a royal PITA to move everything over. Sounds like photobucket is going down in flames.

Seems like the truck will be a little lighter with this setup than what was going on before. Should cycle cleaner too... Wish it was only $10 I had into this rig.

Seems the new guy (3rd) working on on the tuck knows his stuff. We'll see how it progresses.

Going where no one has gone before! I'm thinking rear IFS next... :anonymous:

Have you thought about the F150 (yep, I just did that) fuel tank? It's suppose to fit in-between the rear frame rails, but with only one problem, the Fuel gauge registers backwards.

Do you mean IRS? Independent rear suspension...
