Sadly it does not feel far from the truth. :annoyed: Starting to get crazy ideas about what I can do to get the dumb XB more trail friendly...

James said the front axle is getting locked and re-geared next week. The 3rd set of kings should arrive as well.

I think if you just trim a little off of the mud flaps those tires should clear no problem...

Those are staying with the shop, not sure if they'll be utilized for some future project or if they'll sell them off.

So..... yea.... apparently they can't get the current setup to work. So everything is getting cut off any going back to a standard 4-link.
Gas tank situation is still TBD but the truck will handle better and it will pull more travel. Just wont have all the fuel capacity I wanted. But who knows, a custom fuel cell may be in my future.

Also adding a 1" body lift, will replace all my worn out bushings and just solidify everything a little, will also help with clearance all around.

Also will be covering up most of the wheel well like this.

It's been nearly a year only for them to say "This doesn't actually work, we're starting over"

JTA is only one flat bed trailer away :D

Well, here are the last shots of it in the current config..

Apparently the axle shifts too much with this setup, with the with the axle with, tire size and frame the shocks hit the frame. :boom:

It took a fucking year and a half to figure that out...

Luckily the axle still has the upper link mounts in place, so they'll just need to chop off the new stuff that they put on. May even be able to go back to the 18"s
