Well, I think the back end is now adequately protected.

Function over form I suppose. Any additional design ideas? What does the sub frame consist of?

Ya I would have just cut a straight line in the fiberglass. I have no idea how they're going to get any decent support to the forward most part of the wing. Looks massive. Looks like something The Truck Shop would do.

Yes, I specifically inquired about the supports on the wing (showed CBI example) and was told one would definitely be included. We'll see what route is taken, hard to add a support with fiberglass still intact, that's why I was fine with cutting the glass, no need to protect something that isn't there.

But with where the fuel tanks kid sits adding clearance to the bumper would not gain me much overall.

Ya with the wings, why make things wider than they need to be

Agreed. It does blend well with the bedside, of its not being chopped. Hope it all cleans up once the swing-outs, lights recovery points get added.

At least it matched up with the prominence of the front ARB bumper

Close to final mock-up from the shop, switching to a dual swing-out configuration for parking clearance and towing. Finally looks closer to a complete truck!

    Yes
That is absolutely the one thing that I would change on my bumper, dual swing is the way to go. The only thing you lose really is a longer fold down camp table space...

Yeah, always needing 5ft of clearance behind the truck just to get in the back is a no go for me lol

Also I'm so used to using the tailgate for all my stuff, I'll miss the addition a nice big table but may be able to have two small ones. More like shelves maybe. It's leaves a lot of potential for future add-ons.

Will cost a little more for an extra hinge and latch but the amount of headache it will save me over time is priceless.

Personally I would consider making the jerry can holders at least as high as the spare goes. Losing ascension angle due to jerry's digging into the ground is no good.

Swing-out bumper is making some progress, shop completed most of the welding, just a few more finishing touches and its off to paint!

Alright! Bumper and swing-out arms are back from powder coat!
She's still a little stink bug right now but once we mount the bumper, spare tire, jerrycans, and fuel up both tanks she'll hopefully sit nice and level.

Bumper mounted up, still able to pull off a table on the swing out. I rarely get this excited about a table.

Filler is mounted inside the bedside, plenty of room. Transfer pump setup currently.

She's getting closer! Got some updates from the shop. Bumper was worth the wait, guys did a stellar job putting it together. Just a few more final touches! Hoping to add a lock between the swing-out to keep anything inside the bed safe!
