Zerk fitting

i check twice the u joint for zerk fittting. None. Is it possible to have a none grease u joint? 2017 sport dclb

 

You only have them on the Front Driveshaft

I upgraded to Bluetooth zerks, no big deal.

 

Dealer try to charge me $23 for greasing it

 

Well your dealer is a dick, tell him stun gun says so. He’ll know who I am

 

Will go back to the service for it. I will let them grease my truck and after will ask where are the area they grease it.

 

Good call. But first, before we catch these crooks red handed, double check your u joints.

 

@Emmanuel My 2017 OR 4wd only has Zerks on the Ujoints of the front driveshaft, not the rear also.

Wait! 23 bucks to grease 2, two, zerks? On top of the regular service or did they have to put the truck on the rack just for that? Because if they did and at the going rates then I guess that is what is cost now a days...this world has gone Krazzzy if you ask me....

 

You can unbolt the little shield to gain better access to the Zerks.

 

My 17 DC OR doesn't have them either.. I checked once, twice just to make sure.. last time i had the truck serviced, i asked the service adviser about greasing the zerks and was honest about it and told me that the new Tacomas didn't come with zerks

 

You do have them on the front driveshaft

 

My 2018 has them on the front drive shaft.
