I promise I have searched and read threads on suspension/wheels/tires until my eyes have crossed. So many different configurations, and I am positive someone has the same proposed setup as mine.....I just haven't found the thread.

Second gen (2012) DCSB, Bilstein 5100s with clips set at position 5 for approx. two inches of lift up front, and one inch blocks in the back (blocks were recommended by ToyTec).

I've since read that blocks are frowned on-I did the best I could with the information I had at the time. I've also learned that lifting or leveling alone doesn't allow for a bigger tire/wheel necessarily due to offset, so I understand that. Plan is moving up from the 16" stock to a 17" wheel with zero offset.

Is anyone riding a KO2 285/70/17 with the same setup? I had planned on getting 275s, and have since found out they only come in an E class in the KO2, which rides like ass, to quote another TW member :) So I am looking at 265s or 285s. It is my son's truck, and he really wants the 285s, but single mom here can't take on cutting at the level of a CMC. And to clarify, the kid has said he will be happy with either size as long as we can get the KO2's (so the Falkens, etc. are out) but I am fine getting the 285s if they will fit. I did read I may have to balance the KO2s more often, roger that. We have a set on another 4 wheel drive, and they do okay.

Have I missed any details? Thank you so, so much if you read all this way! Happy to delete and move to another board if that is more appropriate. I read somewhere to post about this stuff on the suspension board. More confusion. :)

With wheel spacers and a solid alignment with at least 3 degrees of caster from aftermarket upper control arms you may clear the tires
