Everything I had read on these engines indicated that I WILL be altering the exhaust/muffler. I was pretty fucking happy when I saw that I had a full 1/2" of clearance. I know that plumbing isn't gonna grow a 1/2".ttuljRkQIVbXxMl7tKmsHMXCmB7noR5jXJlahFC8_88d3bb3de7e102330db7549bc4d0afb86ee85c2d.jpg

While on the floor, I stuck my head under the engine. I could see light shining thru 3 of the 4 motor mount bolt holes. I'm thinking "this can't be this easy!"

Dropped 3 bolts in the engine base and wiggled the motor a tad and the 4th fell in place.

At this point I'm way further along than I ever imagined.

I don't have any pics of installing the hydraulic drive pulley and the electric clutch.

Again, I was completely amazed that the crank was the same diameter and length as the Kholer engine.
The E-clutch pulley is held on by the crank end bolt, again, I used the same bolt that the Kholer used. Plugged in the wiring for the E-clutch, slipped the belts back on and dusted off.

Poured me a shot of Michigan snowbank cold Vodka to reward myself.

Close. @koditten, you need to get a video on the first ride. Maybe regear for more speed... Im sure there will be folks happy to read a review on HF in regards to fit.

Well, that 1 shot turned into 4. I knew I wasn't going any further that evening. 2.5 hours to pull the old motor and install the new motor. I was feeling pretty smug.

The Predator calls for 10w-30. I got tons of 5w-30, so I stopped for the night.

This gave me a chance to do some research on the electrical. My plan was to meter out what wires where what the next day.

At this point, everything but the wiring is done.

Eagle eyed viewers will see the "Ambition Reducer"[IMG] sitting on the fender.

    Done for the night.
