I do however think that GZ should feel remorse because he did put himself in that situation which is against the universal concealed carry rule. You don't look for trouble when you are carrying. However, TM did attack him and he was defending his life and really did nothing actually illegal IMHO. It's a poor outcome but TM could have prevented it at anytime just like so many people say GZ could have. That being said, the masses are asses and have swayed this case far more than is legal and GZ will pay unfortunately. I sadly have to wonder if it'd be different if his last name sounded different. Has anyone heard Al Sharpton's remarks about "no justice, no peace"? Appalling...

IMHO, he didn't have to shoot the kid, he wanted to shoot him and this was a perfect excuse to use his relatively new firearm.

I voted innocent, the whole case is a cluster fuck. By penal code once deadly force is used deadly force can be used against the assailant, in Texas (Florida is nearly identical to Texas on code) once his head was on the ground and trayvon hit it, deadly force was used so gz shooting him was perfectly legal

The state fumbled their case, heck the prosecutor wouldn't even make eye contact with anyone when they pulled that felony murder trick when asking for lesser included charges. They're hoping for a guilty on whatever they can get to save their career.

I didn't watch the whole trial so I don't know what was presented/argued, but remember, a not guilty verdict is not the same as innocent.
