Merl's hand is paying homage to the hand in the comics IMO. I've heard the creator say that he didn't like the comic hand being gone because while they were writing he would say "wouldn't it be cool if ______ could do this....oh wait, they can't with only one hand...damn" (paraphrased)

so I don't think the show will follow that line. I'm excited for the Governor, I read the spin-off book about the Governor and it was pretty interesting, the 'twist' at the end felt a little like M. Night but it was a good read (I hate reading)

The storage unit was probably Lori's or maybe Shane's. When Rick got to the house in the first episode, all the pictures and frames and stuff where already gone.

I started watching this last week and was hooked instantly. Watched all 6 episodes for season 1 in a few days, but was sad thats all they. I went on Netflix the other day and was hoping they would throw season 2 on and BOOM!! Like someone answered my prayer! Now Im set.. at least for 13 more episodes.

Yah it seems odd. Unless Shane and Whori were playing house longer than they led on why would she store all of that stuff? I can't see planning far enough ahead during an evacuation scenario to take everything that you don't want looted to a storage unit. If everyone is going nuts and eating human flesh I'm not gonna make a pit stop to drop off some old pants and a few pictures.

Yeah, good point. I guess it could have been Rick's but the pictures looked too recent to me so that's why I thought it might have been Lori or Shane. No way of knowing exactly how much time passed from where Rick got shot to where the outbreak started.

Also when Rick and Glen and the rest escaped from Atlanta, didn't they see a van driving by just like the one at the end of this webisode? I'm thinking it is since that's the tie in between the show and the web series.
