Zombie Apocalypse Show isn't Real Enough (The Walking Dead on AMC)

    (I wasn't able to go back and rewatch the Talking Dead episode, so I can't confirm exactly what he said)

    I just can't get past the, "The walker dragged her around the corner and ate her" part. I've watched every episode of this show, and damn near every single major zombie movie ever made... and I have NEVER seen a zombie "drag" anyone anywhere. Zombies drop and devour... PERIOD. Two zombies couldn't finish T-Dog bones and all... I don't think we've seen the last of Lori, dead or walking... Either that or Nicatero has lost his edge, and has turned into a hack director.

    I'll be the first to say I was wrong if we never see her, or anything resembling her again.

    *Edit - I freeze framed the youtube video above and I see Carl, and what looks like Lori as a walker... just say'n.

    ^ This. Zombies dont drag, they eat. If they did drag them away we'd see them drag off kills for themselves. there is something odd there but that walker in the flannel does look like lori's flannel

    Excellent point Dmonkey, zombies have "NEVER" dragged a victim. I haven't read the comic series, but have talked to people who did. They stated that the comic does not really follow the TV series. Secondly, the image of the "fat zombie" is not big enough to have consumed an entire human. I will post a pic of the zombie if anyone really wants to see it again.

    Nicatero said (paraphrased) "the viewer is supposed to take away that the zombie dragged her around the corner and ate her" not the zombie DID drag and eat her.

    he's basically saying "we want you to think" I too wish I could find a clip of him on Talking Dead but I remember him wording it in a way similar to that.

    I'm not saying we will, I'm just trying to reiterate what was said on Talking Dead. You never know with this show.

    And with the words said at the 13 sec mark they are either referring to leaving a zombie behind or possibly the baby. So why care about leaving a zombie behind unless she has some significance to the story.

    They don't care about leaving a zombie behind. The prison will be over run and some is gnna be eaten whether its the baby, Beth, or even carol. Someone from the group is gnna be left for dead.

    I can't imagine Carl will leave is baby sister behind given the connection between the characters is already established and he has the responsibility of taking care of her. If this TV series decides to take the life of an infant, it would be travesty to the majority of the millions of viewers and may in-fact turn them off to the show. That is a rather large risk to take even though this show claims there are no rules.

    Ok so far this show has shown throats getting ripped out crazy ass c sections shot two lil girls in the face a pretty much point blank range. Shown a horse getting eating like a smorgasbord. People being ripped in half. Killing off any character at will. How could killing a baby hurt this show. The show does not follow the comic to a tee but in the comic Lori and the baby are killed in the prison raid by the governor the bay didn't last long in the comic it won't last long in the show. And if I am wrong on Lori coming back I will gladly say I was wrong its to much of an obvious expectation to have Lori come back as a zombie. She was eaten and that's it no more Lori ever.

Lori is wearing a greyish short sleeve flannel. this doesn't match a red long sleeve flannel. That being said, how the hell would there be a woman zombie in a male prison wearing street clothes?

    Thank you. All I can think of is civilians were in the prison when it got overrun. In the prison yard there was plenty of walkers in street clothes.

    Thank you. I watch the new episodes at least twice on sundays trying o catch every lil detail. This has to be one of my all time favorite shows.
