    i dunno. from what i've read and seen it doesn't follow the comics very closely. i saw some interviews on attack of the show and it looks like they are using teh comics as inspiration but not following it exactly

    from what i remember in the comic, it was the "situation" that caused them to get together.

    seems like he was not very kind to her......which played out later to be no so good for him (in the comic)
