    I wonder if Daryl will have any "ill will" toward Rick after he gets back to the prison. Assuming he does not try to finish the Gov in Woodbury first. I mean, should he have let Merle into the "inner circle" regarding giving up Michonne? If not, Merle wouldn't have kidnapped her. I guess his plan was to shoot up as many people as he could either way.

    I dont know man. Initially I think the plan was to turn mischonne over and gain the govs respect. Then convince the gov that daryl belonged there with them at woodbury. Somehow convincing Daryl he should come with him.
    Then mischonne flashed them pearly whites.
    I think it was at that moment he knew he prob wasnt going to live and decided to go get some redemption. He wasnt going to be "Piss bucket boy" anymore.

    I wouldn't think so, but you never know. I think that Darryl knew the deal about Merle - remember in the prison he said "I just want my brother back." That says to me that he knew that Merle was trouble. We have to remember that Darryl turned his ways around in season 1 - IIRC, Merle said something to the effect (while they were in the prison) that they (him and Darryl) were going to rob Ricks group back in season 1.

    I think that Darryl will be gone for a while and then come back once he has sorted everything out.

    That makes good sense. I wasn't sure if it supposed to be a kidnapping mission and redemption for Merle, or a retaliation mission for Merle, hence why kidnap.
