That scene where it was ripped in two was pretty cool though. Glen getting to smash was cool too!

Why was farmer's daughter so weird after seeing the zombie ripped up?

Why the fixation on the barn when Rick asked if they should camp down that way?

Where the eff did bloated up fatty in the well come from?

I know, just trying to create some discussion.

I think they have one of their own in the barn who is a zombie. I guess they are hoping for a cure. That's what I heard. I believe that's what it is in the comics. Sorry if I ruined it for anyone

Maybe we should start 'masking' our posts with comic information in them...I don't want a Oz funded Canadian war directed at me.

more below with comic specifics, highlight to see.

Not a comic reader, but looked into it. Apparently the farmer has been keeping friends and family that were infected in the barn hoping for a cure. In the books one broke loose and fell into the well which spawned a chain of events where Rick and the gang find out about the barn and it's contents. Now they haven't been following much of the comics (like has been said in the thread) but it'd be a pretty sweet thing. Think about it. The preview for next week showed Gettin Luckly Glen in the rafters of the barn looking freaked, the chesty farm girl was freaked by the dead well walker (presumably she knew it in life or just didn't like seeing gross guts) and when Rick asked about setting up camp near the barn Ol' Boy said pretty quickly "stay by the house and away from the barn" and the camera held the image of the barn as a focus for an extended amount of time.

The barn is the next thing to be the focus, which if it's full of folks, will be the lead to have Rick and the gang bail on the farm.

At first, when Glenn and Maggie were about to do the deed, I thought AMC was actually gonna show some bewbs, even if for a split second. Instead we get some side bewb that looked awkward because of obvious tape covering. Boooooooo!

Last night did suck...Now Shane got the wife prego, I hope they can keep the story interesting, or it's just gonna be another typical show my wife watches, just with a zombie here and there.

It was pretty slow last night but trust me it's going to start moving along faster. If they are going to even remotely follow the comics they will start picking up the pace. Merle will definitely add some fuel to the fire.

a few elements are clicking with the comics.

potential spoilers below (don't say i didn't warn you)

    • the barn... I do remember something about what was stated above.
    • Lori being pregnant (i knew exactly what she asked glen to get)
    • Glen and Maggie (they are still together 84 issues later).
    • seems that Andrea and Dale become an item as well....can't see that happening in the TV series though.
    • also, the story is still ripe for Shane's demise.

the Theodore, Merle, and Daryl characters are only in the tv series so anything is possible in their story arc

I didn't mind this past show either. It was pretty cool when the zombie got ripped in half. Would you really drink the water out of that well If they had got the zombie out just fine? I think not, shoulda just killed him while he was down there.

I'm trying real hard to like this season, but it is not going so well...

This last episode was SO boring and pointless... it did nothing to advance the plot.

This season has been very disappointing

I think it planted a lot of seeds that will turn into something later.

If you think about it. Dudes want action all the time. Chicks want all this story that we've been getting lately.

They're doing a sorta, 3 episodes for him, 3 for her.

It's Days of our Lives with a Zombie Outbreak!
